Contest Details & Registration/Inscription & Renseignements pour les Concours
If you want to participate in one of our contests (limit 3 per baker), please let us know which one(s) and what type of cupcake you will be entering by clicking on the following links. You must supply at least 12 regular sized cupcakes for each contest you are entering (5 will be presented to the judges and any remaining cupcakes will be distributed to the crowd).
The contests will begin at 2PM promptly; winners will be announced at the opening of Cupcake Camp around 3PM.
The contests are as follows :
• The Most Parisian Cupcake
• Most Unusual Ingredient/Exotic Flavored Cupcake
• Autumn-Inspired Cupcake
• Your Dream Come True/Wish Granted Themed Cupcake
• Best in Show (note the 1st prize winners of each of the above contests will compete)
The contests will be judged by a panel of expert bakers and local celebrities including Sylvie of Scarlett's Bakery, Jane of La Cuisine Paris, Lindsey of Lost in Cheeseland and Lola's Cookies, Blogger and cookbook author Dorian Nieto and his writing partner Birgit Dahl Stern, Joannah of Cupcakeista, Elo of Elo Les Cupcakes, Alisa of Sweet Pea Baking, Elodie of Yelp.com, Heather of Secrets of Paris and our guest of honor: Muriel of Make a Wish France. Each first place winner will receive an adorable, custom-made gift from Gaelle of Ma Peste Adoree.

Si vous voudriez participer dans un concours (limite 3 par personne), merci de nous indiquer lequel ou lesquels et quel(s) cupcake(s) vous allez mettre en compétition en cliquant sur les liens dessous. Il faut faire au moins 12 cupcakes de taille normale pour chaque concours pour lequel vous allez vous inscrire (dont 5 pour les juges et les autres vont etre distribues aux participants de Cupcake Camp).
Les concours commenceront à 14H précis. Les gagnant(e)s seront annoncé(e)s lors de l'ouverture de Cupcake Camp vers 15H.

- L’ingrédient le plus inattendu/le parfum le plus exotique
- Meilleur Cupcake inspiré par l’automne
- Meilleur Cupcake avec thème "Mon Rêve Réalisé/Vœux Exaucé"
- Best in Show (Premier Prix ou les gagnants des concours ci-dessus seront en compétition)
Les concours seront jugés par des pâtissiers professionnels ainsi que par des gens célèbres comme Sylvie de Scarlett's Bakery, Jane de La Cuisine Paris, Lindsey de Lost in Cheeseland & Lola's Cookies, Blogger et auteur des livres de recettes Dorian Nieto et son co-autuer Birgit Dahl Stern, Joannah de Cupcakeista, Elo de Elo Les Cupcakes, Alisa de Sweet Pea Baking, Elodie de Yelp.com, Heather de Secrets of Paris et notre invité d'honneur: Muriel de Make a Wish France. The Contests!/Les Concours!

Just tallying up the cupcakes and wanted to share with you some of the amazing, creative submissions we have had for the contests to whet your appetite!

I am just realizing (several hours after I posted this) that I didn't even talk to you about what these cupcakers are competing for. So without further ado, here are the prizes from our amazing sponsors:

We have several gift certificates from Paris cupcakers too including a free Savory Cupcake lunch for 2 from Synie's Cupcakes, a box of 6 free Beauty Cakes from Ruthy, and gift certificates good for free cupcakes from Cupcakes & Co.
Little Miss Cupcake is offering a gift pack of Hello, Cupcake! and What's New, Cupcake? cupcakes recipe & idea books.
And last but not least, our hosts, Bistrot Vivienne will be awarding the winner of the People's Choice contest a 1-month contract to sell that cupcake in their take-out store during the month of July!

The Contests!/Les Concours!

If you want to participate in one of our contests (limit 3 per baker), please let us know which one(s) and what type of cupcake you will be entering by contacting us at cupcakecampparis @yahoo.com. You must supply at least 8 regular sized cupcakes for each contest you are entering (this is in addition to any cupcakes you bring to share with attendees).
The contests are as follows :
• Most All-American/Patriotic/ Independence Day
• Most Unusual Ingredient/Exotic Flavored Cupcake
• Le Best of Paris.com Cupcake (Most Parisian Cupcake)
• Summer-Inspired Cupcake
• Best Pop Culture Cupcake (inspired by a favorite song, entertainer, book, film, etc.)
• Best Cupcake by a Baker under the age of 16
• People’s Choice
The contests, with the exception of People’s Choice, will be judged by a panel of expert bakers and local celebrities. We have some amazing prizes lined up from our sponsors including gift baskets of baking supplies from Wilton, Ratana, iCiNG WORKS and ScrapCooking® ; a gift certificate good towards a future purchase on My American Market.com; a feature on Le Best of Paris blog; the chance to teach a cupcake class at La Cuisine Paris; a copy of "The Best Places to Kiss in Paris" from parisian party, and a recipe book/smoothies basket from innocent. Many of the professional bakers attending have also offered gift certificates good towards future purchases of cupcakes in their boutiques as contest prizes.

The People's Choice contest (open only to non-professional/non-commercial bakers) will be judged by tasters selected from the crowd. The winner will have their cupcake featured on the menu at Bistrot Vivienne's take-out boutique for the month of July. To be considered, you must send us your name and a short description of the cupcake you would like to enter before the deadline of June 25. Please send us an email at cupcakecampparis@yahoo.com with the subject field: People’s Choice. You will also need to bring between 12-16 regular sized cupcakes for this contest on July 4.

Nous avons des paniers pleins des accessoires de Wilton, Ratana, ICiNG WORKS et ScrapCooking ; une carte cadeau pour My American Market.com ; un article sur Le Best of Paris blog ; l’occasion de diriger un cours à La Cuisine Paris ; une copie de "The Best Places to Kiss in Paris" par parisian party, un livre de recettes/panier de smoothies d’innocent. En plus les pâtissiers qui vient vont offrir des cartes cadeaux pour les achats dans leurs boutiques.

Le concours du choix de la publique (ouvert uniquement aux pâtissiers non-professionnels et non-commerciaux) sera jugé par des participants de l’assistance. Le gagnant aura l’occasion de mettre son cupcake sur la carte à emporter du Bistro Vivienne pendant le mois de juillet. Pour faire votre candidature, il faut nous envoyer votre nom et des détails de votre cupcake avant la date limite, le 25 juin. Merci de nous envoyer un mail à cupcakecampparis @yahoo.com avec le sujet « People’s Choice ». Il faut compte à faire au moins 12-16 cupcakes d’une taille normale pour ce concours le 4 juillet.
