Save the Date/Sauvegarder la Date!

While you're all anxiously awaiting news of Paris' first ever Cupcake Camp, we thought it would make sense to at least get the date in your calendars. We are very excited to share with you that this event will take place on Sunday, 4 July from 16H30 - 18H30 in Paris, 75002.

There's a lot to get done in the coming weeks, and Bryan and I will do our best to post all the details here as they happen. We will be asking everyone who attends to RSVP, and all bakers will be asked to register so we know exactly who is bringing what. Watch this space for registration details.

And thanks in advance to everyone who has written to express interest in participating. We look forward to seeing you on July 4!

It's Happening! Location Secured.

We are happy to announce that Cupcake Camp Paris 2010 is OFFICIALLY on its way! We have a location (a spiffy little place in the 2nd, not too shabby) as well as a tentative date (if not the perfect date). All we need now is YOU! We want to make this the most exciting event of the summer and we need hungry cupcake bakers to help us along.

Don't know how to bake a cupcake? The time to learn is upon you!!! Cupcake Camp Paris will be the perfect place to exchange recipes, ideas, flavors, and techniques while just having a generally good time eating America's cake du jour.

Get those beaters and powdered sugar ready. Cupcake Camp Paris is on. Check our facebook page often to find out when sign ups are as well as conditions for entry (cupcakes, hunger, smiles, etc...). You won't want to miss out!

Nous sommes ravis d’annoncer que Cupcake Camp Paris 2010 est OFFICIEL ! Nous avons trouvé un lieu (dans le 2^e, pas mal !) et on a une date tentative (peut-être la date parfaite). Maintenant tout ce qu’il faut est VOUS. Nous avons hâte de rendre Cupcake Camp Paris l’événement de l’été mais il faut des pâtissiers des cupcakes.

When Will It Happen?

Thank you to everyone who has written to express interest in being a part of Cupcake Camp. We are just as excited as you are for it to happen! But first things first...we are currently trying to find a location for Cupcake Camp. The criteria? Large enough to accommodate at least 100 people, in central Paris, open on a Sunday, and with an easily accessible smaller room to serve as a staging area where cupcakes can be dropped off and prepped before being brought out to the waiting hordes of Cupcake Lovers. If you have a space like this available, or know of someone who does, please leave us a comment below so we can check it out. Thanks!

Merci a vous tous qui portez l'interet a Cupcake Camp -- on a recu plein des emails des "bakers" qui souhaitent participer a cet evenement! Pour le moment, on n'a pas de date prevu -- il faut d'abord trouver un lieu. Qu'est ce qu'on cherche? Un endroit pour au moins 100 personnes, a Paris intra-muros, ouvert les dimanches, et avec une petite salle separe ou on peut preparer les cupcakes avant de les servir. Si vous connaissez ce lieu ideal, n'hesitez pas a nous contacter en laissant un commentaire en bas. Merci!

Welcome to Cupcake Camp Paris!

Well, it's official! I've spoken with Ariel Waldman, founder of Cupcake Camp, and I am set to host the first EVER Paris edition of this fun, community event.

I'll be posting details as they become available but shooting for a date in late April/early May.

Bienvenue a Cupcake Camp Paris! C'est officiel - Paris aura son premier Cupcake Camp ce printemps (vers la fin d'avril/debut de mai). Je suis tres contente de vous faire partager cette grande tradition qui vient direct de Californie cree par Ariel Waldman.
